The Rolls Royce Silver Shadow was originally called the Silver Mist (yes all RR cars have a spiritual/ethereal name, Ghost, Shadow, Phantom) and the Spirit of Ecstasy was allegedly based on the founders PA whom he was having a little shall we say ‘friendship’ with. RR dropped the Mist name as in German it means something not quite so nice. Badge and Mascot Chroming is one of the jobs we love the most.
